Description
On the same day [25 June 1296] and in the same place [Perth], being present the witnesses written last above, and the Notary, the lord Robert Cameron, lord of Balnillo, knight, freely attaining the trust and good will of the king of England, annulled any alliances, contracts, agreements, or pacts ever entered into in his name with the king of the French against the king of England, and expressly renounced them; and having touched and kissed the most holy gospels, he performed fealty to the said king of England, and in respect of his fealty, he drew up his letters sealed with his pendant seal.
