Description
At the same place [Perth] and on the same day [22 June 1296] with the same witnesses being present as written above, and in the presence of the Notary, Hugh of Urr, freely came to the trust and good will of the king of England, and annulled any alliances, contracts, agreements, or pacts ever entered into in his name with the king of the French against the king of England, and expressly renounced them; and having touched and kissed the most holy gospels, he performed fealty to the said king of England, and in respect of his fealty, he drew up his letters sealed with his pendant seal.
