Description
Gilbert de Lynd monk of Arbroath, collector of the teinds in support of the Holy Land, recites a mandate from Master Bagamund de Vica, nuncio of the Apostolic See in the Kingdom of Scotland, to the subprior of Arbroath, commanding that he receive from Master Adam, provost of the church of St Mary in the city of St Andrews, £40 for the teinds of benefits for the past two years, excommunicating Adam for non payment and irregularity of payment. Gilbert makes known that he has received the said teinds that pertain to Adam and absolves him of excommunication with the authority of Master Hayamund.
