- Richard the prior and the convent of the church of Durham have inspected the charter of Robert bishop of Durham (See EEA 29, no. 206; H2/19/10). Prior Richard and the convent of the church of Durham therefore ratifying and approving the said donation, grant and confirmation of charter, confirm it with the defence of the seal of the chapter. Dated at Durham on 28 January of the aforenamed year (i.e. 1280 NS).
