Master Adam (of Makerston), provost of the church of St Mary’s in the city of St Andrews, and the chapter of the same place, have given, granted, and made firm by their present charter to John son of William son of Lambin the whole land of Lambieletham (FIF) and Kinninis (FIF) which Adam son of Gillemuire MacMartin held of them and their predecessors for his homage and service, for an annual render of 60s., namely, 30s. at Pentecost and 30s. at Martinmas, for the former cain of barley, cheese, and for all other services, exactions and demands, which could be sought from the said land, performing forinsec service of the lord king as pertains to the said land, saving to themselves and their successors pleas and plaints that ought to pertain to a chief lord.
