Description: Walter son of Alan, steward of the lord King of Scotland, has given, granted and by this his present charter established to Robert son of Uhtred of ‘Baltrod’ (now Pitroddie) that burgage plot which is between the house of Swartebrand and that land which Benedict son of James holds of him in the villa of Perth, in feu and heritage, rendering annually two pounds of pepper and two pounds of cumin.
