Description
Alan son of Walter, steward of the king of Scotland, has given, granted and made firm by this his charter to Paisley Priory, for the quittance of the cash teinds of his renders in perpetuity, those five marks which the monks of Melrose were accustomed to render to him annually in respect of Mauchline (AYR), and he and his heirs will be quit in perpetuity for the payment of the teinds of his renders in cash.
