Description: Adam son of Serlo of Edinburgh has given and by this his charter established to Holyrood Abbey, 6 acres in Gorgie (MLO), which are within their cultivated fields of Saughton (MLO), as he perambulated them with responsible men, for the fraternitas of the same house for himself, his wife and their children, in perpetual alms, free and quit from all secular service and exaction.
