- William de Vieuxpont, son and heir of William de Vieuxpont and Emma de St Hilary, for the welfare of the souls of his lord William, king of Scots, and his lord Alexander his son, and of himself, his wife, and his son William, and others, has granted, and established by the present charter, to Holyrood Abbey, the church of Bolton (ELO) in free, pure and perpetual alms, which his father gave them, with half a ploughgate of land and the teinds of the mill of Bolton.
