Description
Elena la Zouche has granted and by this her present charter established to John of Kinloch, for his homage and service, the whole villa of ‘Magna Croyn’ (Cruivie, Logie ph., FIF), with lands, renders and all its pertinents, which William ‘Strangessone’ formerly held of her, and which he restored to her by rod and staff and quitclaimed on 23 Feb. 1274, for John to hold as William held it, as in the charter of her father Sir Roger de Quincy, earl of Winchester, constable of Scotland, to William Strangessone.
