Description
Thomas of Lessudden has given and granted and by this his charter established to Dryburgh Abbey one half mark in perpetual and pure alms as a penance for the canons on Christmas, paid annually from the rents of his land of ‘Huntrodes’ at Eccles (BWK) on Martinmas, which land he gave and granted to Eccles Priory in perpetual prebend, as contained in the documents between them. He wills and grants that the said Prioress (of Eccles) and the convent and their master are to be held to the said payment of one half mark.
