Description
William King of Scots has granted and made firm by this his charter to the monks of Melrose 2 oxgangs of land and 2 acres of meadow with pasture for 400 sheep in Primside (ROX), which the abbot and convent of Kelso have given them by way of the peace made between them; to be held so freely and quietly as the charter of the abbot and convent of Kelso and the grant and confirmation of Geoffrey Ridel bear witness and confirm, saving the king's service.
