- Gilbert de Haye has granted and by this his present charter established to Lindores Abbey, that donation which his father David de Haye, of good memory, gave them, namely, of a third part of the draw-net fisheries of Clashbenny and ‘Rugesablun contra colcric’ (PER). He has also given, granted and by this his present charter established, to Lindores Abbey, for the welfare of the soul of his father David, and his mother, and himself, and that of Idonea his wife, and others, all of a third part of his draw-net fishery over ‘Joymersandes’ (PER), in pure, free and perpetual alms.
