Description
Adam of Edington has given to Robert son of Roger his brother, in return for his homage and service, the sixteen acres of land to be found in the territory of Coldingham, with a third of the toft and croft, all of which the prior of Durham and the convent of that place gave to his father, Adam; to hold of him and his heirs, with 6d. to be rendered thereupon for him and his heirs to the building of the church of Coldingham at the feast of Pentecost.
