- William Comyn of Kilbride has given, granted, and by his charter established, to William Gourlay for his homage and service, 8 marks annually, half at Pentecost, half at Martinmas, that is, 4 ½ marks from his mill of Linton Roderick (West Linton, PEB), and 3 ½ marks from his lands of the same villa, which land Stephen of Glamis and William Long hold from him at ferme, by the hand of those who hold the said mill and lands at the time, in feu and heritage, in perpetuity, for an annual render of 1d on Martinmas.
