Andrew Fraser, son of the late Gilbert Fraser, knight, by the consent of Beatrice, his wife, has given, granted and by this his present charter established to Kelso Abbey, in free, pure and perpetual alms, one ploughgate of land which he bought from William, son and heir of John, son of John of Kirkland, lying in the tenement of Westergordon (BWK), by stated bounds, which include the toft of Robert Todd, with fifteen acres of land, by stated bounds, which include the land of the abbot of Kelso, with two tofts and crofts which Adam of the Hogg and John son of Leith held in the time of lady Alice of Gordon, with all the pasture of the whole villa and with three acres of meadow in the dominion of Gordon and with Adam son of Henry of the Hogg, his neyf (i.e serf), with all his chattel, and with pasture in the same dominion for 40 cows whereever the personal cows of the lord of the tenement of Gordon feed or are able to feed with specified restrictions.
