Description
William Gillies gave and granted and by this his charter established to the mother church of St Kentigern of Lanark all the teinds and obventions of his whole land of Moffat (DMF), which he holds by gift of the lord king Alexander in his forest, in pure and perpetual alms, for the soul of Sir William, king of Scotland, and for the welfare of Sir Alexander, king of Scotland and all his heirs.
