- William son of Henry of Craigmillar has given, granted and by this his charter established to Dunfermline Abbey the toft that Henry of Edmonstone held of Henry of Craigmillar his (William’s) father, and all the meadow which he had in the meadow of Craigmillar (MLO) on the south side of the road leading from Niddrie to the church of Liberton, until the burn called ‘Lothian’, and one acre of land on the north side of the said meadow, and two acres of land called ‘Longacre’ lying between the king’s meadow and Craigmillar, and pasture for 40 mother sheep, and four cows, and one horse and one mare, with their offspring (?) for one year, in perpetuity, in pure and perpetual alms.
