Document 3/100/3 (Lind. Cart., no. 55 )

William of Brechin, for the love of God and for the health of his soul, has given and quitclaimed to the monastery of Lindores the land that was perambulated, from the church land of Rathmuriel (Christ’s Kirk, ABD) to the other Rathmuriel that is his land, and has resigned for himself and his heirs in perpetuity all right and claim which could arise by reason of that perambulation, and so that that land should remain quit and free to the said church of Rathmuriel by the same boundaries that it had before the said perambulation, that is, by the highway that goes from the Urie towards Leslie.
