Description
Thomas of Brotherstone has given, granted, and by this his charter established, to Dryburgh Abbey in pure and perpetual alms, one acre of land in the territory of Brotherstone (BWK), in augmentation of the 6 acres in Whitrig and 4 in the territory of Brotherstone which they have by gift of his predecessors, with a toft and domicile that he had in the time of his father with common pasture for 80 sheep, 4 oxen and one horse, free and quit from all custom, exaction and demand, rendering multure as it pertains to 10 acres.
