Description: Hye of Simprim, by the concession of Peter, his son, has given, granted and by this his charter established to Kelso Abbey the church of Simprim (BWK), with the toft, croft, teinds and eight acres of land, in free, pure and perpetual alms, for the salvation of the soul of King David and for the salvation of his lord, King Malcolm, and for the salvation of him and all of his ancestors and successors, save the tenure of Archdeacon Thor during his life.
