Description
Aliz, wife of Richard Scot of Mow, has given, granted and by this present charter established to Kelso Abbey, in free, pure and perpetual alms, a certain part of her land in the territory of Mow (ROX), namely a field at ‘Ladhlade’ which contains about eight acres and one rood, which she gave and granted to the said monks for the salvation of the soul of her lord, Richard Scot, and for the salvation of her soul and for the souls of her father and her mother and all of her ancestors and successors.
