Anselm of Mow has given, granted and by this his charter established to Kelso Abbey in free and perpetual alms, that whole land, pasture and forest in the territory of Mow (ROX) which is on the eastern part of ‘Ernbrandesdene’, by stated marches, which include the land of the monks of Melrose and the land of the monks of Kelso, except the one acre of land which Anselm gave to W. the mason.
