Description
Eustace de Balliol has granted and by his charter established to Arbroath Abbey all the donations, grants and confirmations which his ancestors, namely Walter de Berkeley, his grandfather, and Ingram de Balliol, his father, made to the monks of the church of Inverkeilor (ANG), with chapels, lands, teinds and oblations and obventions, and remission of ‘grescan’ and of service that the said churchland and the men staying on that land were wont to make to the thane of Inverkeilor, and similarly of common pasture across his whole territory of Inverkeilor, in free, pure and perpetual alms, as the charter of his aforesaid ancestors fully attest and establish.
