- Description
- Hervey son of Philip, the marischal, has granted and by this his present charter established to Kelso Abbey, the donation which Simon Fraser made of the church of Keith (Humbie, ELO), with all that land and wood, by the stated bounds, just as Simon Fraser perambulated it, between Peter the clerk and Cospatrick of Drem, in free and perpetual alms. Additionally, the monks and their men are to be free and quit from multure, parish teinds and from the duty to work at the mill and mill pool.
