Description
Pope Gregory X establishes to the dean and chapter of Glasgow their petition that John, of good memory, bishop of Glasgow, had acquired the land of Carmyle (LAN), Glasgow diocese, with its rights and pertinents, though his industry, and he directed the dean and chapter under the same manner that the fruits and profits of the same land were to be converted for the sustenance of four chaplains who had served the church, as contained in letters patent sealed with the bishop’s seal.
