Description
Pope Innocent IV, at the request of the king of Scotland, grants to the abbot and convent of Dunfermline that the abbot and his successors may wear the mitre and ring, and other pontifical insignia, and they may give to their monks and clerics the two minor orders, that is, of porter and lector, and they may bless priestly vestments.
