Pope Innocent IV writes to the bishop, dean and treasurer of Glasgow, noting that he has indulged to the abbot and convent of Dunfermline that they shall not be compelled to bestow pensions and benefices on anyone without a special papal mandate making mention of this indult. He thus commands that the abbot, convent and their monastery not be bothered by anyone against this tenor, compelling the molesters by ecclesiastical censure. If all of them cannot be present, then the bishop shall do it.
