Description
Pope Honorius III writes to the abbots and convents of the Cistercian order concerning goods and other things carried away and extorted by violence or trickery. He indulges that no legates of the apostolic see may presume to exact or extort procurations of money from their monasteries but when they come to their houses, they shall be bound by the rules of not eating meat.
