- Description
- Maeldomnaich, earl of Lennox, has given, granted, and established by this his present charter, to the three sons of Gillemichel, namely, Gillemichel, Gillemartin and Gillecondad, all the land of ‘Bannerad’ (Bandry, DNB) in the lifetime of the aforesaid Gillecondad, by its right bounds, with all its islands, namely, ‘Innisdomarot’ (DNB or STL), Inchconnachan (DNB), Inchmoan (DNB) and Inchcruin (STL), with all its rights, and every manner of liberty, without any secular and servile exaction. Moreover, he constitutes Gillecondad as patron and lord over the land of ‘Bannerad’, so that Gillecondad and his heirs should hold, have, and possess that land of him and his heirs by hereditary right; they should render to him one roebuck and one hind at Easter.
