Description: Malise, earl of Strathearn, has granted, and established by his charter, to Lindores Abbey, all the lands, possessions and liberties which they had from the donations and grants of Sir Malise, brother of Sir Gilbert, late earl of Strathearn, of celebrated remembrance, and Sir Fergus, his (the present earl’s) uncle, in free, pure and perpetual alms, with easements of the woods of the said Sir Fergus and his heirs, as freely as contained in their charters.
