Description: John, earl of Atholl, son and heir of Sir David, earl of Atholl, has given, granted, and established by his present charter, to Sir Alexander de Meyners, son and heir of the late Sir Robert de Meyners, for his homage and service, all the earl’s land of Weem (PER) and of Aberfeldy-beg in Atholl (PER), namely, two davochs and a half davoch of Weem and a half davoch of Aberfeldy-beg, with all their pertinents, liberties and easements, save the advowson and donation of the church of Weem, in feu and heritage, for an annual render of 1d. at Pentecost, and making forinsec service of the lord king, and suit of the earl’s court at Rait in Atholl (PER).
