- Description
- Roger de Quincy, earl of Winchester, constable of Scotland, has given, granted, and established by his present charter, to Lindores Abbey that the monks and their men with their oxen, horses and carts, should have free right of way through his wood of Kinloch (FIF), if it is expedient to them, and through all his land, wherever they see fit, until Edensmuir (FIF) for the heather and through the same moor until the peatery of ‘Monagrey’ (now Minnie’s Green, FIF), for peats, and from their to their monastery, going and returning, without impediment or contradiction from his baillie or his heirs in perpetuity.
