Description
Lady Affrica of Nithsdale, comprehending the full right of Blessed Kentigern and the church of Glasgow and the bishops of Glasgow that they are recognised to have as true patrons of the church of Blessed Brigid of ‘Wintertonegan’ in Nithsdale (Kirkbride, DMF), has granted and quitclaimed the aforesaid church with lands and teinds and all is just pertinents, to Blessed Kentigern and Glasgow Cathedral and the bishops of Glasgow in perpetuity. She wills and grants and by the present script establishes that the bishop of Glasgow shall have and possess the aforesaid church with all its pertinents in pure and perpetual alms, without any challenge or disturbance.
