Description
Gilbert de Umfraville, earl of Angus, has given, granted and by his charter established to Adam Wishart, son of John Wishart, and his heirs or assignees, for his homage and service, Ballindarg (ANG) and Logie (ANG), with all their pertinents, by their right bounds, except the lands which John Blund holds in Ballindarg and Logie, in feu and heritage, with common pasture in his forest of ‘Lyffedin’. He has also granted to Adam and his heirs or assignees, that they may take timber in that forest to the said lands for buildings, for an annual rent of two unmewed (red) sparrow-hawks (esparuarios sorros) or 2s. on the Assumption of the Blessed Mary, for all services, customs and demands, and making the forinsec service to the lord king that pertains to two davochs of land in the feu of Kirriemuir (ANG).
