Description
Cospatric the earl for Coldstream Priory; has granted and given half of church of Lennel (BWK) with a half ploughgate of land and a ploughgate of land, namely, half from land of Lennel (BWK) and other half from land of Birgham (BWK), and his spouse Deirdre gave them one ploughgate of land from land of Hirsel (BWK) and church of same villa, which he (Earl Cospatric) grants and establishes, and he has given them a half ploughgate of land from land of Lennel (BWK) with ‘Addoc’ his cousin (cognata), and Norman, son of Edulf, has given and granted to nuns one ploughgate and a half of land of Lennel, with his consent and that of Norman his heir, which he (the earl) establishes.
