- Description
- Humbald, prior of Wenlock, and the convent of Wenlock, give notice that Walter, son of Alan, steward of the king of Scotland, has founded a religious house at Paisley according to the Cluniac order, of brothers from Wenlock; wherefore a chirograph is ratified between them according to the agreement made between them, which they have confirmed fixed and sure to him and his heirs. The donation which Walter had granted at Renfrew to the house of Wenlock, for his rights, he has exchanged with them at Manhood (Sussex), whence they have his charter.
