- Description
- King Alexander II has granted to Kelso Abby and Abbot Herbert all the liberties and customs which abbots before Herbert had enjoyed. Wherever, outside king's demesnes, he may find his neyfs and fugitives, he is to have them justly and without delay, and no one is to detain them or their chattels unjustly, on pain of king's full forfeiture.
