King Alexander II has granted friendly composition made at Forfar, in presence of King William, his father, and in his full court, between William, bishop of St Andrews, and David Hay, concerning controversy called between them anent land of Clashbenny (PER) and patronage of church of Errol (PER), to be observed according to chirograph made between them and confirmation of King William to David de Haya
