- Description
- William, bishop of St Andrews, for Dryburgh Abbey; has granted half portion which Sir Andrew of Moray held in parish church of Lauder (BWK), saving tenure of Simon de Noisy for his lifetime, who holds it at present from gift of said canons. He also grants, as contained in instrument of judges-delegate, half of all manner of teinds from Trabrown (BWK), Pilmuir (BWK), land of Walter the Doorward, land of Martin, that is, Whitlaw (BWK) and Langelt, land of Uhtred of Langelt, 'Ailinispeth', and land of Samson, that is, Todlaw (BWK), Addinston (BWK), Whalplaw (BWK), Lylestane (BWK), Burncastle (BWK), and from anything new which may emerge within limits of those villas, saving to church of Lauder remaining obventions.
