Document 2/8/25 (Moray Reg., no. 97)
- Description
- Andrew, bishop of Moray, announces that, because he is unable to be present at Elgin at the assigning of tofts and crofts to the canons in 'Burchalch', he thus wishes and commands that Master Richard, the precentor, and his deputy, shall do it. Also, that the dean and canons who are in his diocese shall be assigned a toft next to the cemetery which the bishop lately dedicated at 'Burchalch', and a croft of two acres; also, dignitaries in Elgin Cathedral shall have a croft of four acres, and Robert Fyndoc may make satisfaction for his croft.
