Andrew, bishop of Moray, has given, granted and by his charter established, to the dean, precentor, chancellor, treasurer and archdeacon of Moray a toft and croft of four acres each, and to each of the other canons, that is, the sub-dean, succentor, and Master H., canon of Spynie, Master Edward, William of Moray, Robert, canon of Dipple, Simon, canon of Moy, a toft and croft of two acres in 'Burchalch'. He also grants to the said canons and other canons of the church of Moray easements in his wood and in his peataries at Elgin for their own uses.
