Document 2/10/230 (Camb. Reg., no. 117)

Description
David, bishop of St Andrews, makes known that Cambuskenneth Abbey is not bound to him except for one procuration for church of Kirkton (St Ninians, STL) and its chapels of Dunipace (STL) and Larbert (STL). The bishop does not wish that any prejudice should arise to canons since when he visited parish in 1251, and was entertained at chapel of Dunipace, this had been done from kindness and not on account of procurations, at request of abbot and convent.
