Description
William, bishop of St Andrews, for church of Blessed Andrew of Gullane; has established that concession which William de Vaux made, that is, that he and his heirs shall have chapel of St Andrew of Dirleton (ELO) served at their own expenses and chaplain who shall serve that chapel shall take an oath to mother church of Gullane. In recognition of this, mother church of Gullane shall pay to chapel of Dirleton one pound of frankincense yearly at feast of St Andrew, as contained in charter of William de Vaux.
