Master Laurence, archdeacon of St Andrews notifies that he has received from St Andrews Priory the land south of the road which goes from St Andrews at Dairsie (FIF), that is, the land which is between [the sea and the great road which goes towards Dairsie? …] which is divided between them and the common [pasture……] of St Andrews assigned and to the mountains and the stream which flows from the south of the said road […] ferme for his whole life, rendering [yearly] for all service one pound cumin at the feast of the Apostles [Peter] and Paul; also, Laurence, by cession or by death [……] the land to the said prior and convent so that from him for [his wish] by arbitration, they may distribute freely from his demesne.
