- Richard, bishop of Aberdeen, in presence of dean, precentor and canons, inspects statutes of chapter concerning necessary sustenance of cathedral church of Aberdeen, and ordains, by consensus of dean and chapter, that church of Blessed Mary and Blessed Machar (ABD) alone is free from all temporal exactions.
