Walter, bishop of Durham, relaxes 40 days of penance and establishes indulgences towards fabric of church of Finchale, or towards dedication of altars there, by following people: Sir W[alter], archbishop of York, 30 days; Sir D[avid], bishop of St Andrews, 20 days; Sir Abel, bishop of same place, 40 days; Sir W[illiam], bishop of Glasgow, 20 days; Sir P[eter], bishop of Aberdeen, 40 days; Sir Richard, bishop of Dunkeld, 40 days; Sir Albin, bishop of Brechin, 40 days; Sir Th[omas], bishop of Annadown, 20 days; Sir G[ilbert], bishop of Whithorn, 40 days; by the same, at dedication of three altars, 140 days; also by the same, in pilgrimage to that place on day of St John the Baptist and octave following, 40 days.
