Description
David, king of Scots, to his sheriff and baillies of Berwick, commanding them to make an inquest by good and faithful men of the neighbourhood (patria) to determined whether the vill of Lumsdaine (BWK) in their bailliary is held in chief by the prior of Durham, and if by wardship, relief and marriage. And if it establishes that the prior does hold it, to restore it to him.
