Description
David, king of Scots, has given Roger Hog, burgess of Edinburgh, and Margaret his spouse, that tenement in which he now dwells, between the tenement of Roger of Boswell on the west and the vennel which leads to the well called 'le Stakwelle' on the east, with all Roger's lands and rents within or outwith the burgh, except his land in the street of Newbigging under the castle, which Roger resigned by staff and baton; in feu and heritage, for service owed and wont.
