- Alexander, king of Scots, for William of Swinburne, his sworn man; at request of Queen Margaret his consort, has given Halton (Strother) in Tynedale (Northumberland) together with surrounding demesnes between Halton and Nunwick in free forest with right of vert and venison, and all his right in it; to hold quit of suit of all courts and all other demands due from land; saving common of herbage to all those who ought by right to have a share in it in due season
